CyberSoft Releases VSTK 175, VSTK Turbo 175 and VSTK Pro 175

What's new in VSTK Release 175
Support for the following platforms has been added:
- FreeBSD 7.0
- SGI Irix 6.5
- MS Windows XP (with limitations)
- Red Hat Enterprise AS 5 - x86
Here is a brief summary of the changes for each component in this release of the toolkit. If a component is not listed here, then it is unchanged in this release.
- uad:
New options --magic-before, --magic-after and --magic-replace, allowing user specification of additional file types.
- miniweb:
SSL/https connections are not available in the current release. This will be made available again in a future release.
Known Problems and Limitations
The following platforms have problems extracting RAR archives:
- OSF Alpha 3.2
- Debian 4.0, 64bit
The following platforms do not support regular expressions in VDLs:
- HP/UX 10.20
- HP/UX 11.00
The following platforms do not support multi-threaded applications, which includes miniweb and the VSTK Web GUI:
- BSDI x86 4.1
- HP/UX 10.20
- HP/UX 11.00
- IBM AIX 4.3
- MS Windows XP
- OSF Alpha 3.2
- Red Hat 8
- SCO Open Desktop 5
- SCO Open Desktop 6
- SGI Irix 5.3
- SGI Irix 6.2
- SGI Irix 6.5
Additionally, the following platforms do not support the VSTK Web GUI:

New License Key:
VSTK Professional now requires a VSTKP-T license key on releases 174 and higher of VSTK Professional. It can no longer be run using a VSTKP license key. Please contact CyberSoft if you need to upgrade your license key.

The VFind Client-server software (VSTK Turbo) is not supported on the Microsoft Windows platform.
